Help with MEVI vacuum lines

My friend and I tried installing my MEVI today but ran into a problem. We can't seem to get the vacuum lines hooked up correctly. The line that runs to the actuator on the VI, is not sucking the acctuator when the RPM switch turns on. We looked at a few of the diagrams on the different write ups, but they didn't help much. I don't remember what order we have the vacuum lines in now, but I can tell you a few things about it and hopefully someone can straighten it out for us or has a diagram that will help, pics are good too.

The vacuum canister that I have has the check valve built into it. We're getting the vacuum from the FPR, and using a Summit RPM switch(we temp bypassed it and are just grounding the solenoid to the engine to get it to activate). The solenoid when activated seems to be blowning out the vent side instead of pulling from the output side. Can anyone give a step by step guide of the vacuum routing? Hopefully there is nothing wrong with the parts that we have. Thanks for any help you can give.

If I remember correctly the big hole on the canister goes to the top port on the selenoid...the smaller hole on the canister goes on the next hole on the selenoid and the last hole is left to open.

Are you useing the Daws Device seleniod and the Napa Canister ??

What do you mean by top hole and next hole? On the solenoid I have there is the vent nipple and a nipple and the other side has only 1 nipple. I have the canister and solenoid in Ians group buy last summer. The canister is a sphere with 2 different sized inlets.

yea...the selenoid sounds like the daws device..

with Wires DOWN...follow the holes that way...
Top hole goes to the large nipple on the canister, second hole down goes to the smaller nipple and the last hole on the daws is open to air
