I got it to work. I used the zip code of the news station (46202) and said I never heard of carfax before or ever went to the site before. Then I said I heard about it from a local news station. I figured that marketing crap didn't matter to me. I made sure the only things that were accurate were my email address and the VIN I was interested in.

I don't know if doing it this way will work for everybody, but it's worth a shot...
