Clear Corners ... legal?

I was going to get the diamond cut clear coners and I was just looking at other cars on the street the other day. I noticed that every stock vehicle has a yellow/amber reflector in the spot where this clear coner would go. Do the clear corners come with a reflector? If not is it possible to get a ticket for clear corners?

They are legal if you put Amber or orange bulbs in them.
I put the amber ones in there because I don't like the way that the orange ones look....thus why I got rid of the orange reflectors.
You will have no troubles if you do this.
I have been pulled over for speeding and gone through road blocks and they have never said anything about my lights in the front.

actually, correct me if I'm wrong, it is the law to have orange reflectors in the front. I doubt that you will run into a problems with the police.
It is very possible to get a fix it ticket for clear corners too.

Depends on where you live and the laws of your state/city.

However, most inspections and police will let you slide wtih clear corners with orange bulbs.

In Maine you can have a white to amber front blinker. Any bulb that faces forward can be white to amber. The side light should be amber but its not usually a problem being white. The front reflectors are supposed to be amber but again cops dont seem to care. Its other colored bulbs and rear bulbs they care most about. Blue is the worst. And in the rear you need red brakes...duh... and amber to red blinkers. All rear marker lights are supposed to be red but I have friends with amber marker lights in the rear and have not been bothered. Id just stay away from Hyper White/ Blue crap....its a flag....PULL ME OVER!

Check on the internet for motor vehicle laws in your state. I found in my home state, Missouri, that the laws only specify the light that is emitted when lit, not the reflected light, so clear corners are fine for me as long as the bulb is amber.

This is a nation wide law. You have to have amber reflectors on the front side of the vehicle. I look this up a few years ago. Some states allow white blinker lights in the front, most do not. However they ALL require an amber side reflector. Same as the little red reflector in the rear tails of the Max. Peeps with cleared out blinker pieces still need the red reflector. But that is another thread.

the only car with clear corners is a Subaru Legacy....like a mid 90's. There is no reflector on the bumper. The amber reflector is on the fender between the wheel and door....just like a side marker repeater....or what ever you wanna call them. Maybe I found a loop hole! Think about it. Amber reflector side markers....."JDM", "EURO", custom. and legal all in one!

In tx, they are illegal. You do have to have front side AMBER reflectors on your car. I got a fix-it ticket for this violation. Actually it was 6 violations that included my red/clears as well. I had the ricer blue bulbs in the front and rear lights. By state and federal laws it is the light emitted that that cops look for. Just like everyone says, just get the clears and but in the amber bulbs. You'll be OK.

here in MI you can have the white or amber lens up front, probably red/clears as long as the bulb is amber
