My 87 Maxima has been so sweet to me for seventeen years and now she's turned a cold shoulder opening all doors with the key except the drivers door. I lubed her up with WD and silicone until she's dripping and she still won't allow me to enter. If I touch her keypad in all the right places she'll only allow others to enter but not the driver. Her lock **** won't slide up or down.

Any Ideas how I can get her back, Or just open the door? Is there anyone in New York City area who could help get us back to the way we were?

 

Sounds like the locking mechanism is binding/jammed. Your probably gonna have the take the inner door panel off and check everything. Can you get the door to open at all?

No, I can't get the door open at all making it really difficult to take off the door panel. I have to crawl in from the passenger side to drive the car.

 

Ack, I dunno what to say bud. That sounds like you might need a locksmith or something to get that open.
