need help quick with indiglos...

ok, i have everything put together, i just dont know how to get power, i read a post taht said to connect to the dimmer switch but i dont know which wire to connect it too there are 3 one with black and silver dots, one red one with a orange/yellow tracer, and a blue with silver tracer. also if i cut that wire to get power that means my dimmer switch wont work anymore right? hopefully someone gets back to me soon, my cars apart thanks in advance

it is the blue with silver trace. make sure you hook it back up to the dimmer as well.

well, i got the gauges working but now there is 2 problems, 1-the interior lights that light up around the shifter do not and center console dont come on anymore, and 2-the needles arent smooth, i think i need to tape them better

When I connected the gauge power wire to the dimmer wire, I just used an exacto knife to expose the bare wire without cutting all the way through.

Then I just wrapped the gauge wire around the exposed area and taped it all up. You could solder them together if you want as well.

The shifter and console lights aren't working because the dimmer switch is either turned all the way down or not getting power.
