I believe Tony (1MAX2NV) sells polished manifolds with a core charge. The one's I've seen from him are real nice. You could also polish it by hand like me I did....takes forever though.

Are you talking about polishing the inside or outside? The inside is very difficult and won't do much. If you wanna do crazy mods on that kinda stuff the lower manifold will help much more than the upper. Still I don't think it will do much. You can clean it yourself. If you have access to a parts cleaner several minutes in there will do the trick to clean it out. If not several cans of carb cleaner will help. As for the chroming polishing. Chroming costs a lot and can get scratched. Polishing is free if you have the time.

Um it's free if you have a BOATLOAD of time. Plus the proper tools to do it. Because if you don't, it will take a boatload of time x 10 and still won't come out right.
It's alot better to buy one from 1MAX2NV (Tony).

I thinking of just having it dip in a solution just to clean all that grease out and maybe the lower too if I get a chance.

No kidding. I've been working on my spare oem intake, and I've spent about $100 on different kinds and sizes of sandpaper, scotchbrite, buffing wheels, dremel tool attachments, sanding discs, sanding drums, wire wheels, you name it. I have found a couple of tools that work great on the large, accessible regions, but nothing that works well getting down in between the runners except good old fashioned sandpaper and elbow grease. I'm still only about half way done, and I must have spent about 20 hours on it already. Maybe not, but it seems like that much or more.
