rear right power window is out on 2k2

my rear right power window just went out. got 25 miles till warranty goes out (35975). i opened up the door and checked whether the switch was loose. not the case. then i swapped the switches with the working left rear power window--it worked fine. so the problem is not in the switch. no blown fuses either, so i guess it can only be the electrical motor in the doors.

a$$hole at rosenthal dealership in Vienna, VA after asking me how many miles i have told me i can only come in two weeks, so there is no way i can just sit for two weeks and wait until my 25 miles evaporate and warranty goes out. i can try other dealer but then i havent bought the car from them so they might give me even more crap. additional problem is that i have installed infinity speakers all round, sub, amp and head unit which may or may not void the warranty according to the nissan represantive whom i talked to just now. wiring for the stereo and windows is independent, so i dont know how would that have anything to do with the problem, but knowing the dealer he will make sure to create a problem.

i was wandering if anyone had any similar problems and how did they solve it? is electrical motor difficult to get to and or is this part of any recalls (i had 2 or 3 recalls already fixed)

thanks.

I would take the car to the dealership and have them fill out the paperwork for your service appointment that's in 2 weeks....

That way you'll have your mileage listed on it that shows that you tried to get service on the car while it was still under warranty...

just my $0.02...

good luck.

As long as they have the current mileage listed in the work order, you should be fine (this is what I was told by my dealer whom I've been very pleased with).
