I need a midpipe, what are my options?

Aight so my car came with a stillen cone when i bought it and ive always wanted to finish out my intake with a midpipe. Ive always thought i would go the frankencar way but it seems that theres no reason to spend $80 or so on something that i could get much cheaper. If i bought an ebay intake just to use the mid pipe that comes with it, would that work with my stillen cone? Or should i just try to make one of my own using the how to's. But i dont really feel comfortable making one, i would be to scared of screwing up. So should i just bite the bullet and spend for the frankencar, or what?

It's really easy to make one. Just take your time; measure twice, cut once.

There are other options for a midpipe besides the frankencar:
