When I installed my injen intake the MAF plug didn't reach so I cut the electrical tape to give it some more reach and then taped up the 3 wires that come from the plug once I had enough slack.

Wish I had a pic to illustrate what I did to mine, but the pics I have were from before I taped it up. Word to the wise, wear gloves when dealing with that tape, because it's nasty.

It's funny I found this thread. I have been on ebay for the past couple of hours trying to decide which intake to purchase. I presently am running a HAI, but I have some spare change to blow & was thinking of trying a true CAI. Especially now that I know how to read the intake air tempature through the climate control. I was leaning towards the Booms CAI because I have this blue theme going on under the hood. I still don't know if I should keep my HAI & invest in something different. I got around $100 bucks to spend, so any suggestions would be appriciated. I sure wish I could find some replacement factory foglights for $100 bucks. My driver side foglight lens cracked?
