Hey on my car the driver side fender was replaced before i bought it and doesn't have the black paint around the bottom, so it looks out of place. Does any one know what paint to use to get to match the rest.

clean car.. nice wheels.. how did u clean ur motor so neatly.what kind of pipe is that?r those light on the corners painted?..the fender probably came off a gxe

The wheels started off as 15" crappers and I painted them with Duplicolor gunmetal wheel paint, the corners are the stock ones I painted with Orange stained glass paint ( Jdm amber color almost).

The pipe ? The muffler is a ractive one with no cat or resonator and it sounds really deep not too loud and no zing. I actually haven't cleaned my engine in like 2 months. Engine degresser and simple green do wonders.

 

I just had the front only painted on mine and it was done in matte black bumper paint, available for around $10 at an auto paint supply store. I think the stock is a little bit glossier, though.

I can't tell the difference really on mine from the front to the side, but you might have to do the entire side to even it out.

 

Note to self: Get gun metal paint for my crappy wheels!

Best part of the wheel paint , no primer was needed.

 

how much prep was needed to the wheels?

 

Not too much, before we painted they were BAD. I had a drill with a wire brush type thing on the end to get some **** off and sanded the rest by hand. But before all that spray on aircraft stripper or reallly good paint stripper ( does alot of work for you) We then got to painting. We left the Rim in the tire when we did this. We placed playing cards between rim and tire to prevent overspray onto the tire.
