Anyone here have a bra on their 4th gen. I never see them on any maximas around here. I would like to see a pic of one if someone has one and what are the opinions of other max owners? Do they look nice or what? Thanks for the info people.
Peace

but only use them on long trips. I personally think it,s ugly, but it,s functional.

i have one, it's a hood bra, it's black and my car is black, so it looks alright.

I'll have some pix done over the weekend.

I have a Wolf bra on mine, and I like the look of it. I had someone pull their car a little too far into a parking spot in front of me and then drive off, leaving me with a nice crack in the front bumper, so the bra covers it up - looks much better. I make sure to use it on long trips too - its good for love bug season (nasty bugs in FL that mate while flying, and their inner chemicals can mess up your paint.)

I have one but do not have a Pic.
I think it looks good on my white SE. It appears really aggressive in the front IMO. I do not think it looks good with all colors though. Sometimes I just leave on the hood piece only.

ne1 have one for a 95 without fogs, that fits really snug because don't fell like dishing out $100+ on a mask that i might change when i put the fogs in.

I used to have a full nose mask/bra until I decided to use only the top portion for the hood. I got the OEM one from courtesy and the bottom piece never fit perfectly around the curves of the bumper. It's some work to remove it and clean/vacuum every time it rains.

But the only problem is that you are not suppose to leave it on when it rains. Leaving the wet bra on the painted surfaces especially plastic, can dull the paint. The only function mine served was to protect the front end. It looks ok. With a little vinylx by Lexol it shines up pretty well.

98sterlingmistSE- my car is not fast, but its getting there

Wolf Nose Bra

I just ordered mine two days ago (waiting for it to come in). I have a white 97 GLE and want to distinguish from all the other white GLE's. I have seen them with nose bras and they especially look nice on maximas - it gives it a real nice sportive/aggressive look. Besides that, I travel 50 miles a day and am always encountering all sorts of flying debris during my commutes daily. The nose bra will definitely serve a purpose. I purchase mine for $80.00 at Discount Auto Parts (Tampa, Florida) this included the tax. I also plan to pin strip my car as well (black/grey pin stripping) that start from the front and circle all around the car. It will look like an extension of the nose bra. I will supply some pics when I get it all done.

gtr_rider - I don't know about other masks, but the Wolf bra I have for my 95 has a couple of sections that cover the fog light area. If you don't have fogs, you just leave it on; if you do have them, you can use a seam ripper or knife or something and cut the stitching to take them out. I ordered mine from Discount Auto Parts for somewhere around $50-55.

Nose Mask

It looks great! I should be receiving mine any day now. Does she keep the mask on all the time? I have heard that if it gets wet it can develop moisture beneath it that can cause the paint to cloud up and discolor. I think this would be more so with a darker colored vehicle. Mine is white. Anyway, it looks great. Thanks for the pic!

I bought it recently from courtesy nissan.
They may have some more...

Ya, you have to take it off when it rains.
As for scratching the paint, I had a mask
on a previous car for a year or so and it
did leave some marks on the car (with a
close eye). It's a choice between big dings
from construction trucks on hwy or hairline
scratches from bra. I heard that cleaning
it frequently helps. This time, I put some
3M clear tape over the stress points where
the bar meets the car. Hopefully that'll
minimize the scratching...

good luck,
rob
