Hey, just a side not for all of you who want to install a ground kit... beside all the wires on the links above... I had an 8 wire kit and with the extra wires i also grounded the alternator, ignition, and bolted a wire to the tranny!! the alternator was grounded last and i found that it significantly increased my gas milage, and my overall response(DONT think its just a placebo effect) These are just some of the differences I noticed from my ride.. !!!..

 

how can you tell it has significantly increased your gas milage after installing it one day?

 

Just reground the stock grounds and any other electical systems. There is no point on grounding the timing chain cover, TB, IM.....I did the alternator, block, tranny, both gound harnesses behind the headlights, the fuel injectors. Ended up with 8 including the regrounding of the battery.

 

LOL i was driving during rush hour traffic in Seattle for two hours.. If u know how rush hour is... it would usually have costed me at least a quater tank but this trip made me waste about less than an eighth!!!

 

cool. good to know. i bought some 8 gauge wires, 20' for $5 at homedepot. i'll be making some to ground mine too. how/where do you ground the ignition? thanks

 

I'd also like to kno how/where to ground the ignition, tranny, and alt. I just picked up all the parts and want to do this soon

Oh ya, how do you connect the grounds to the battery, i was thinking a side post?
