Busy day... Full body kit, FCP intake, Struts/shocks, Spings, RSB, Clear corners*PICS

Well, I had a busy day on this past Saturday. All the above mentioned items were installed on my car this sat, by me, and my good buddy. It took us all day to get everything install, but the results were with out a doubt worth it.

I really need to clear out my headlights, I know… but I do not feel right about putting my lights in the oven. Other then that, I now need to get a better muffler or something because my stock on looks lost on the rear valence.

Well here are some pics, and you can find the rest on my website.

just with the front shocks done, and the front lip on:

rear shot with rear shocks getting ready to be installed:

front of the car is lowered, rear is not yet

Finished pics are in next post....

Looks great. You need new rims and tint. What springs did you use. I went with Maxspeeds and I'm not too happy. It looks pretty much stock. I'll post pics once my digital camera comes back from Sony.

As for the muffler, go with the Cattman rear section. I'll be getting it soon and highly recommend it for looks and gains.

You should get an OTTO Racing FSTB to take care of the suspension.

Thats not the MaxxTuning Lip. Look at the opening under the stock bumper. That looks like Emax's lip.

Well, first... Thanks to everyone for the kind words! But to answer everyones questions:

blkmaxx - I have H&R's in the rear, and Progres in the front. the reason being is so it gives a nice even drop from front to rear.

2k3TitaniumSe - Yes, I do want to get tint, but the police do not like tint where I live. If i am going to spend the money on a mod, then I do not want to forced to take it off and not put it back on. And thank you for the recomendation for a new rear section... do you have a price for the muff? And I rather not have a loud muffler, nice and deep as well. I really need to get one. does any one else have any sugestions? and i have a fsb, but i have not installed it yet.

Igor911 - Thanks buddy. Yeah, i know i have to hide the power cable... it sits in the back of my mind all the time, but i never get around to it. some time...

MaximaPolak - I knew some one was going to ask that. It is a long story.

dba1999us - It is a stillen kit. I have the center caps in my car for the rims, but I think that I like the look of the wheels w/o the center caps. It gives it a more agressive look I think. anyone else have thoughts on this?

blubyu2k2 - Well, I have to uphold the legend of emax! haha. I was going to buy his rims, but i didn't have the extra cash on hand. and yes, it is the same front lip. eventually i will get the correct lip for the car.

Manny, you should get the Stillen sides to complete the look and make it look cleaner. Just a suggestion. Everything's looking great, btw.

Actually I got Sarona sides and I have the holes filled smooth....but one had major fitment issues- so I have to schedule another visit to the shop so that
they break off and remold one end of the sides

dba1999us -- I never thought about that. I guess I will put them back on.

Mack Daddy -- thank you - Yes, my system is rather loud, although i would like to get some better sub's. I am thinking about some W3's. everything is neat for the most part, but i really want to make a custom trunk. i will do so after i install my lcd screen and carputer so i can work the computer into the specs.

Ammi -- thanks! i used double sided 3m inch wide tape, along with the screews. it is held in pretty well.

they are back on now. I just never liked the 2k1 rims... 2k2 rims were a big improvment even though they didn't change much.

do you guys know what causes "squeaking" when going over a bump? it sounds like it is only comming from the rear drivers side shock. it is rather annoying. i did that shock just the same as the others, i wonder why it is making noise. any ideas?

That maxima sure does look familiar I like to call it my little imposter Every time I see it I will be getting flash backs, I just have to say over and over in my head "S4, S4, S4" Then I will not feel so bad....

BTW Chris I was able to get my car back on the ground and with the stock suspension my vibration is 100% gone! Quite interesting indeed... My friend Fred bought a Silver 2001 Maxima, lol, another "imposter" ha, what is going on here! He is buying my intake and full exhaust (Y-pipe and all). It looks like I am going to have "Hell on earth Part 2" soon. The air tools straitened out, I found out the extension cord I was using was not up to par... Well another 8 days and I should have the S4 on hand, see you then!

Whats up Babyblu, I have missed you old buddy! I will try to get on AIM soon.

Hahaha. Yeah, if it were not for you, i wouldn't be on my 5th maxima.

Damn Ethan.... the vibration is gone? did you put your 18's back on, or your 17's? maybe it IS the rims like people have told you. ? Thats cool though, that means you can sell your car more easily, and get more money for it.

8 more days? whats taking so long?! make sure you stop by next tuesday. and don't worry, now that fred and I have maxima's, and we will be around you all the time... you will change your mind about the S4.. haha.

catch you later man.

And it wasn't that bad... stop exagerating. lol. hell on earth was the last time we did this to my old maxima. this was actually pretty painless beside some of the few "obsticals" we ran into.

oh, and I still got lost getting home from you house... your roads are very confussing, especialy at night. i was about to turn around and stop by again to get directions. lol.

Hey, I decided to put my 18's back on because my 17's are completly out of wack. I knew the vibration had nothing to do with my rims since it only happened under acceleration. The raised suspension got rid of the big angle the drive shafts had before and now covers up the problem.

I can not find my oem corners so I am stuck with no back left corner I need to buy one now...sucks. I am happy to made it home in one peice.

Standard delivery times for car's from Ohio is about 2 weeks. It is only costing a est. $495 though I can actually sell this car localy and make $1400, hmm...

Don't forget after you left I was not even near done, I put another 6 hours into getting my car back on it's feet. "HOE" indeed
