does your turbo have fittings that can take ss line?

maybe welding a AN fitting on one of your end tanks will let you convert to ss.

You using barbed fittings? They shouldn't leak. I guess you can conver to some type of -AN fitting and use a compression type fitting for rubber or SS braided rubber.

yea i have barbed fittings. i tapped off some bypass rubber hose near the front of the motor and its a bigger size so i used this ghetto size down thingie ma bober. i would like to swtich to AN fitting but havent had much luck finding fittings. or maybe i can run the water lines from somewhere else.

Hmm how about using the water feed line to the TB? You could grab it before it gets to the TB. That should be a similar line size. DanNY gave me a great source for fitting etc.. I'll post it tomorrow. Can't you use a brass barbed fitting from Home Depot or something? Or is that the wrong size?

Question. I do believe you use a scavange pump right? Brand? Tilton, Mocal, Westech? Most places have them for $190-ish. Any ideas where to get one cheaper?

Although Jeff has a good point on getting that TB line, another idea might be just to tap it from the coolant plug on the block, cause its already threaded.

ok let's make this easy...what's on there now?

NPT or metric thread?
If it's 5/8 then get a 5/8 NPT to AN6. run a 90/120 degree AN6 swivel off the turbo so it'll clear whatever you have to.

bring it up to where ever you have your coolant feeding to and from...(heater hose/piping is also a good area). you can get a econ-o-fit hose end w/ the worm clamp and clamp it on there if you're on a budget.

if you have a 5/16 tube then you can get a compression 5/16 tube and slap on a 6AN hose end to that. if you want to play around w/ it you can get a tube nut and a flare tool and bring it out 37 degrees and it'll work also...you'll need a AN6 male union for that.

PM me or post what you have. I'll help you work it out from there. ALSO you do not have to use braided hoses. Earl's makes a nice rubber hose that works quite well esp for coolant set up. (yeah i know my plumbing)

oh Jeff...they decided to raise some of their prices...they used to be A LOT better but now Jegs/Summit are pretty much neck to neck w/ their prices on fittings now.

I do have to say their selection is better than the others...but if the item is on backordered...good luck.
