Passenger Courtesy Light Not Working Anymore...

While working on a project, I somehow caused my front passenger door courtesy light (the one that is at the bottom of the door) to not light up anymore. Somewhere, I have disabled the ground switch that tells the light that the door is open. My main courtesy bulb and driver door operate correctly. I have taken out the accordion switch and swapped it with the driver door, only to find that it functions as it should. This leads me to believe that the problem is somewhere else. Any ideas?

Are you sure you didn't blow the bulb... easy enough to check... I assume this happened while you were adding the rear courtesy lights eh... ironic, now you have rear lights, but a non-working front ... hope you get it fixed.

I had the same problem....I was trying to install some leds and used the courtesy lights to tap into. I accidently had both wires touch each other and the light stopped working. The only way to fix it is replace the window switch box. For example if the passenger courtesy light is not working then replace the passenger window switch box, and it should be working fine. You can find them cheap on ebay. Hope this helps...

I have this problem but a little the othrt way around. My passenger courtesy light is lit all the time, when door is closed and and open. It happened after I put small LED board in there. On driver side same setup is working fine.
