Inside/Outside Temp Gauge Mod

I was on Cardomain looking at everyone's maximas. And ran accross a really cool Mod. It is a Inside/Outside Thermometer that goes right in the spot next to dashboard Dimmer

Heres the link to the picture:

Heres link to the car domain member i found it on

I was just wondering if anyone has done a writeup or has done this mod. I think it is really cool for us Manual Climate control guys. I would even think about instaling it on my center console near my sunroof controls like an explorer....

Thanks for any help!

Yeah it looks pretty sweet. Especially for us with the manu climate control it would be neat to know the temperature. And that spot is prety useless without anything there

you can find a digital temp thing at radio shack or somewhere else possibly, then crack it open and figure out a custom fabrication from there

well, if you think about it... You need to have an outside temp sensor & inside temp sensor... then you need a digital temperature reader... wire them up & you're ready to go....

long time ago you used to be able to buy the hobby kits at radio shack, stuff like a fm radio and blinking leds and i think they had a thermometer one too. it had all the components and you just wired it up
