DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR!!! If there is no pressure on the lower hose on the passanger side then your thermostat is stuck closed. If there is no pressure in both hoses and they are both cold, you either got no water/coolant in your car or you waterpump just took a big dump on you. And your temp is not lying niether.

Further attemps to drive the car will lead to total distruction of your engine and I'm not kidding niether.

Thanks for the imput. I have coolant so either I have a bad sensor or my thermostat is sticking. I'll have to check it out this weekend, car drove normal this morning...

after you have the thermostat and/or water pump checked out and/or replaced, this might also be a good time to have your belts inspected

this is defently not the smartest thing to do. seriously when you engine blows the headgaskets and warps/cracks the heads simle thing like replacing the thermostat won't save you anymore.

also, as others have mentioned, stop driving the car, you're only causing more damage which ulitmately later on can lead to a new engine

i have that problem for 2 years. basically ever since i got my glow gauges installed, i had hard time pushing the new gauge face over the stock gauge face, causing the temp needle touching the new gauge face and it shoots up to "H" whenever my car warms up.

solution: too lazy to fix it, but car runs fine for 2 years.

so yea...
