Arrg! After almost 3 years, a blown MAF

Just my luck, I post to answer a guy's question as to what his problem could be.. Few hours later, I clean my TB, put everything back, all is well, take the car out for a spin, everything is nice... Then I go to run an errand, going about 60-65, all of a sudden the car starts hesitating and dies I push the damn thing into a plaza, she sits for 5 minutes then I was finally able to start her, but can't get past 2.5k rpm. Limped home, cleaned the MAF, no luck. I guess tomorrow I get to see how forgiving my dealership really is. They are fully aware of the PR CAI, but haven't given me a hard time. Since they know the CAI is there, I'm not even going to bother putting the stock box back on, if they replace it, cool, if not, I'll be giving Dave B a call

Cool, thanks, even though I do have an extended warranty, if its not covered, I may need to order those on my own.

Just as expected, turned out to be the MAF sensor. Even though I left the CAI on, the dealership replaced it as a warranty repair.

Not to jinx it, but I've had nothing but positive experiences dealing with their service department. Between the springs, catback, y-pipe and intake they havent given me any hard time at all.

I bought my car at 41k and when I get to 60K I'll be taking it in for service. I hope Action Nissan treats me nice. I haven't heard many good comments about nissan service on here. My Trans Am has never been to a dealership, and at this point they wouldn't know how do do any work on it anyway.
