i know it works better the messier it is, but how do you clean it???

i know it works better the messier it is, but how do you clean it???

my california duster is disgusting. like so dirty the nasty smell that orginally came with the duster it now gone. how do you clean them? cause i think mine is ot that point.

There is instruction on the original packaging. I believe it said lukewarm not hot water with mild detergent. Then let it air dry. If not then time to buy a new one.

when i bought mine.. it said after each use shake vigorously.. i do that its been clean

The instructions that come with the duster suggest washing it gently in Woolite (or Zero up here). They probably use this because it is unlikely strip off any of the paraffin wax the duster is coated with.
