when I go S/C, should I keep 7200rpm redline?

how many of you guys with mevi and S/C or turbo rev out to 7 grand? is this safe? would 7200rpm overspin the blower?

I do. No problem so far with a 3" pulley. That puts the blower at 51.4 krpm at 7200 rpm engine speed. That is overspinning the blower, but not by much. I think Mardi was spinning his to 53 krpm back when he was SC'ed.

The VQ engine, MEVI, centrifugal blower and 7200 rpm were all made for each other.
