Need some info on changing shocks in rear

Need some info on changing shocks in rear

I have a 93 GXE. It has drums on the back and i've disconnected everything on the rear except i can't get what i believe is the e-brake cable off the back of the drums can someone please give me a clue as how to do this. Thanks.

Make sure your ebrake lever isn't pulled. I've forgotten that before when I needed to get the ebrake cable off a rear caliper.
