BOV....which one to get?

I am buying a used S/C V1 kit pretty soon and it comes with everything except the BOV....which one do you guys suggest I buy...I know the Blitz are pretty popular on the boards here but what are the alternatives and prices for each?

any sound files of BOV's to hear what they each uniquely sound like?
chime in and tell me your favorite sounding BOV...

The flange on the kit is for a Blitz... you will need to buy and weld a different one if you go with another company... something to keep in mind

Visit www.blowoffvalves.com and follow the links for some sound clips of different BOV's. My personal favorite is the greddy type s, but i didn't want it that loud b/c i didn't want to attract too much attention, so i just got the blitz bov.

Why don't you get and try out what "comes" with the kit you're buying before deciding to get another one.... you're jumping the gun

Personally, I prefer the sound of the Greddy. I have one on my turbo setup, and my wife's turbo Integra has the Greddy also. It's a high pitched whistle. I had the Blitz when I used to have the SC kit, it doesn't sound that great to me. Like a duck honk or something, hard to describe.

LOL... I think more like a RTD bus... but that's just me.

S/C "blow off" can be really annoying with a high pitch BOV... it works more than on a turbo...

I think that's what annoyed me most about the SC, the constant blow off. It never ended.

That's precisely why the "low profile" noise of the Blitz is better (but to each his own)

My brother has a HKS SSQ and that thing screams with his MKII 6MG(T)...
