Tire Speed rating for 190 hp engine

I just returned from a tire shop wear they 'accidentally' replaced my H-rated 205/65R15's with a 4 'T' rated tires, despite my request for 'H' tires! The O.E. tires on this vintage were 'V' rated which I always felt were rough riders. When I dropped to 'H' , the ride/handling was more to my liking. But I am concerned that dropping 2 speed ratings from a H(130mph) to a T (118 mph) will have a noticeable impact on handling/response/emergency maneuvers/etc. I am not so much concerned with the 12mph diff, but the overall compatibility of it with the cars suspension. Any comments would be most appreciated. Thankyou

As long as you're not doing evasive maneuvers at 118+mph, then it's a non-issue.

I take my car to the track on a regular basis, so I need Z rated or better (I run full slicks on it at the track now), but for daily driving you hardly ever get over 70-80mph, so don't worry about the ratings at 120mph.
