GD Injen Intakes - Never Ends!!!

Hello fellow maxima enthusiasts. My name is Michael (in case you don't know) and I work at a aftermarket performance shop located in the Los Angeles area. I've noticed that the support for our cars is limited and getting good prices is something that we all desire for our parts. I have talked to my boss and informed him that we would like to see good prices for Injen intakes, so he told me that I could make this post and share with you some pretty good prices for them. The prices are as follows:

RD1925 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 6/94-6/98 -- $235 Shipped
RD1930 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 7/98-99 -- $235 Shipped
RD1935 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 2000-01 -- $240 Shipped
RD1940 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 6 Speed and Automatic 2002 -- $235 Shipped
RD1945 -- Maxima 6 Speed -- 2004 -- $240 Shipped

If you want to contact us please use the following e-mail ddress: sales@racespecialists.com. If you want to verify what kind of person I am and where I work at, contact MaximaTong or arthur glazier. I met them at a meet we went to and they can verify the place I work at is legit. www.racespecialists.com is also almost complete, so please feel free to visit the site when it does go up in a week or two because the prices offered within the site are very low. If you need to contact me use my personal e-mail address at webmaster@enjetek.com. This GD does not have any time limit so feel free to order them at your leisure. If you also have any other requests feel free to ask about them since we do carry other products.

Hey Michael,

I was looking at a INJEN, but if you want to get some buyers your going to have to beat the last GD that was just over like a month ago. I listed the prices they had below.

RD1925 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 6/94-6/98 -- In stock now! $225 Shipped
RD1930 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 7/98-99 -- Currently out of stock $225 Shipped
RD1935 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 2000-01 -- In stock now! $230 Shipped
RD1940 -- Maxima SE, GXE, SLE -- 6 Speed and Automatic 2002 -- In stock now! $225 Shipped
RD1945 -- Maxima 6 Speed -- 2004 -- Currently out of stock $230 Shipped

Nope I won't have to beat it because that was a month ago and it is no longer going on. If you look around online you will see the prices that the intakes are selling at and I can almost guarantee that it won't come close to what my boss is offering. Just because a GD last month had lower prices doesnt mean the prices in this deal have to be lower than them. That would then lead to a cycle of prices going lower and lower and lower etc. As stated, these prices will be available whenever a person wants to order one. I understand how you feel as we all want good deals, but believe me when I say that other sites are asking around 280~ for them. Thank you.

What he means is you should at least match the price of the last Gd on these to the prices he just gave you might have buyers but what if we want to wait for the next Gd from them and get it for cheaper then you? Match the price people will start buying.

Sorry guys I can't go any lower. Remember this offer will always be on the table and remember. who's to say that they will offer the intakes at those prices again? Also if you read that GD, notice how there were problems associated with that GD. Not to knock the person responsible for that GD but if it was at a lower cost then what could explain all of those problems? Thanks for the response but the prices are firm.

--

I did a little research in the other GD thread and found these comments:

1:
"Due to these problems and price structure changes this GB is now closed. We may reopen another GB with the new pricing once we figure out what is going on with the fitment."

2:
"I just called back and asked for Phil. Apparently, that was the same person i talked to yesterday. He checked and said that u weren't an authorized dealer so he couldn't do it. I dont know whats goin on but maybe u should talk to him again because he is not doing it."

In response to statement 1 there has definitely been an increase in the prices for certain parts so that can explain why our prices are $5 more than the previous GD. For statement 2 I can definitely tell you that we are Injen authorized as well as Rev Hard authorized. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail either address listed in my first post. Thanks.

Why are people willing to pay $200+ for an intake? Just wondering.

I got one from SWA in a group deal about two or three months ago. For $199 I think that was the most people I saw buy a injen at one time since I've been on here. The $199 was for a 2003 so you know that for the lower model's it was less.

My point is that there aren't any maxima intakes out there worth $200. The one that should be the lowest priced is the Injen as it's placed in the worst place possible to get COLD air. That's another story though.
FREE BUMP.

Thanks for the free bump Dave sz. I guess the reason I chose to buy an Injen Intake is because it looks good and because it is C.A.R.B. legal, and that is a big plus for myself.

Sorry I have been in school and have'nt had time to check this forum. Here are answers to your questions:

-what colors do you have them in? i need a black one?
>I believe it does come with the black hoses because I also have a RD model one and it did. However I have seen them in red but switching it to black will be no problem.

-if you dont have it in that color, do you know who makes a cai in black?
>The hoses or the actual intake? I'm assuming your inquiring about the hosing. They have been known to make them in different finishes because I've seen older ones in a hyper-reddish type of color.

-and is this deal still active and how long will it take to ship to bay area california 94541? and does it come with a filter and what kind of filter?
>The deal will remain open and will never close. It should only take a coule of days once the payment processes because we are near L.A. so you are not too far away. It comes with the filter that Injen provides with the intake since it was designed to use that filter.

The best way to order is to go to our website at www.racespecialists.com and you can order it from there. Just mention that you are from this site or ask for Mike, but I am only available on tuesdays and thursdays after 2:15 because of school or on saturdays. If not, just call the number on the site and a representative can discuss your order over the phone. Thanks.
