Will 1992 maxima SE power seats work on a 1990 SE. I want to know if tracks have to be changed or is it bolted right on? also is there a plug available for the 92 seats in a 90 car.

it is a direct swap and the wires should be there already.

 

even though my car has manual seats your saying their is wiring to power it up
under the seat.

 

yeah thats what "the wiring should already be there" means LOL.

seriously...Nissan ran the wires for stuff like that on all US cars but they just dont hook them up. They are either going to dummy plugs on your existing seats or they are under the carpet. I know some have said they were not there for them but they have been there on all of my cars (89SE, 90GXE, 92GXE, 93SE, 94GXE) and only one came with leather (the 92GXE). 2 of my cars were parts cars but I do remember the wires being there when I was taking the seats out.

If you want to be sure though all you have to do is go out there and look under the seats.

 

If the plugs are not there, look under the carpet. I did the same thing ure wanting to do, but I put in powered cloth seats instead. The plugs are under the carpet near the front inside housing where the seat bolts to the car. Have to look under there to find them. Good luck & have fun with ure power seats, I DID
