I saw a really cool, and modded gs300 today in atlanta. I was checking out clublexus.com. I never knew there were performance parts for lexus cars. Including turbos and superchargers. Main question here is has anyone driven one before.

Re: yes

my parents have one. it gives you a little jump off the line but thats about it. the ride is made too luxurious to give it its capable performace. if you search, the tuners of lexus is refered to L-Tune like TRD is for Toyota. this one girl at my school has a L-Tune GS400. it has rims, a kit, exhaust, grill, and its slammed too. real nice but she never pushes it.

Very smooth with a refined feel. I still feel like my 5 speed has more punch though. Then again, the Lexus is in a different class. Dollar for dollar we've got a great car.

I drive my pop's GS430 all the time...and DAMN is that thing quiet and fast....oh but that wasn't the question...sorry hehe

BTW - I think the GS handles like crap at highway speeds....kinda seems to float around...I like my Max SE MUCH better on the highway...except for the noise...intake and exhaust...muuuuhhahhaha

I would take a BMW 528 or 540 over the GS 300, 400, or whatever their numbers are now.

Even though the GS turns out good numbers on bench tests, but when it comes to driving experience.... it has absolutely NONE!

As posters here, I think we are all DRIVERS...

My sister has a GS300 and it drives extremely smoothly. She let me drive it only once but it was fun while it lasted. Its really quiet and powerful.

does a 500+ hp supercharged GS400 count?

the car is fricking money. you could pick up chicks left and right

when I did the photoshoot on Swift Racing's GS400, the car drew attention everywhere while driving down the main streets. With huge HREs and lowered with H&R springs, the car looked sweeeeeettttt. The 0-60 in 4 seconds was also nice

Even with the spring/shocks & low profile tires, the car still rode silky smooth.
