Raybestos and I hate them. I have new OEM's on the rears with Powerslot rotors. The stock pads stop just as good and provide no added noise or dust. If you want performance with some added noise get the Axxis MM's or Hawk Performance.

I agree OEM. I have put different brands on my car and they might stop better but they squeak and dust like all hell

PF Carbon Metallics. Better fade resistance than OEMs and cheaper.

Good thread! Since I installed my Powerslots, my Hawk pads squeal like pig in a straw hut. I'm going back to OEM as well.

How about posting reasons why you do or do not like what you have tried. Everybody has their own opinion on what is better, but giving the reasons will help everyone determine what is the best for them.

PF = Performance Friction, for those interested. I also put these on my 00, after reading about various pads to put on. They are quite a bit cheaper than OEM, and can be bought from Autozone with a lifetime warranty.

My rotors right now have glazing on them from braking hard. Do you guys think OEM with cross drilled and slotted would hold up.

1. I've never experienced any fade w/them to date.
2. Initial bite is good
3. Brake dust is a little more than OEM, but not bad.
4. Quiet as a mouse. except they don't squeak like a mouse (what a stupid phrase "quiet as a mouse" is.
5. Relatively inexpensive
6. You can buy them at loca auto store. I got mine at Advance Auto, which is a national chain.

btw....Max'sMax....check this out, this is a good alternative to xdrilled/slotted:

like any OEM parts, how much they cost depends on the particular dealer....they all make their own prices, which can vary greatly...

Don't forget that there are 2 grades of OEM pads. You have the Nissan Select (cheap) and the regular Nissan pads.
