Without the sensors (more than one) it isn't going to work and the factory wiring harness is completely different

Be the first man. This comes up a lot but no one has ever actually done it to my knowledge. I'm sure it's a pain but it can most likely be done.

Craig B did it on his 3rd Gen. It wasnt easy, from what he says.

Anyway, feel free to do it and make a good write up with pics and wiring diagrams for the rest of us.

I actually have a digital climate control from a 95-96 max if anyone elese is interested in this....It comes with the aluminum coverplate if you have that kit....only asking $20 and its yours.....PM me if interested....

On a side note....this is a very pain-stricking task to swap ECU and wiring harnesses along with placing the correct sensors int he places they go....I believe I tallied it up a couple years back at being around $600 just for the wires and sensors....not to mention the time and agony it will take.....If anyone plans on doing this I give you mad props and need a write up! Good luck to whomever decided to take this challenge.
