I was just quoted $1400-1600 to repaint the front end of my max...by reliable collison in Warwick RI. IS this reasonable...does anyone have any other places in the rhody /mass area to get a good repaint for cheaper?? Thanks!! (ill post this in the reigonal section as well)

 

I got my passenger door, bumper, passenger side fender, and rear bumper done for 600 bucks and it looks real nice in MA. So i think that price might be a little high BUT it also depends on what paint color you are. Ya know?

there prob quoting your for the original paint thats why it's so much the paint for the maxima is somthing else.. it's very differanta nd very expensive... my car got keyed so it neede dto be repianted... 3000 quoted... thank god for insurance

 

That price is outragous. You should figure paint work cost somewhere between $150 to $200 dollars per panel. Especially if your car is black! I could see possibly $1400 or so if the vehicle required a 3 stage pearl paint job like mine would. Unless you are having some body work done also then i wouldn't pay more then $800 to $1000 bucks depending on what type of materials are being used.
$800 (Diamont, Transtar, Nason)
$1000 (PPG, Dupont, Siegans)

 

well ya they had to do sum body work aswell on mine because it got keyed deep all around they had to refinish everything and o ya.. im in canada so its canadian dollars
