Interesting start - rear end swings out

Wife called me yesterday quite upset. At a stoplight (it was raining outside) and it goes green, she puts it into first gear, accelerates away and the rear end swings out. WTF!?! Is that from sticky calipers?

had this problem and it was the tires. they were very worn out and stating to thread. check tires, if tires have good tread, try getting them ballanced. how fast was she going?
