98 GLX Hum left rear

I just got this car last week. Today I noticed an electrical hum somewhere in the left rear when the car is off after its driven. I looked underneath and it appears to be coming from a black box that looks like its connected to hoses (emissions?).
Anyone got any ideas?

That's the EVAP system doing a self-test by pressurizing the fuel system. Totally, normal.

Also, you don't have a GLX, there's no such thing.

If you're confused about your trim level, it's explained in great detail in the FAQs.
