turbo question

I can get a real good deal on this turbo and im wondering if a t4/t3 turbo with a .48 a/r turbine work on a maxima? Im just looking at boosting at around 5-6psi. Im afraid that the turbine may be to small and I may never see boost (turbine size may be to restrictive). thanks

No, that turbine shouldn't be too small for that amount of boost. Think of it this way: a KA24DE is capable of taking that turbine to 15 PSI of boost. And that's just an inline-4. Just curious, what trim of compressor is it?

BTW, what year Max do you have?

Honestly, I'm still fairly new to the world of turbos, so I couldn't tell you how to figure out just by looking at it. I'm guessing that yours is probably like 50 or 57-trim though. A 50-trim would be good for spoolup, but I think a 57 is better for peak boost. (Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here)
