What suspension you riding on???

I'm planning on getting some suspension done to my car. And I was wondering what type of suspension everyone is using. I was thinking about tokico illumina suspension kit, but I want the drop of the TEIN stech. (2.2/1.8). So some suggestions are requested.......thanks

ok, i have ridden on tein s-tech with agx's and now im running on tein basic damper Coilovers and let me tell you something. just spend a little more, and get the tein coilovers. they are worth it, i dont know why i even wasted my money on getting shocks and different springs. that's just my suggestion

how much do the tein coilovers cost? and wut kinda ride is it? a coilover like ride(bumpy) or a nice, stiff suspension?

stiff suspension, not as bumpy as how people say it is. and is very nice.
honestly, it feels like just low springs and aftermarket struts, but just a tad stiffer, but handles very well. no body roll. worth it!

i have sprints and agx's (3F 6R) and i have no complaints, except for the fact that i had to cut a coil off of the rear springs to make them even. but i would agree with maximus, if i had the option (and money) to do it again... i would have gone with the tein basics. (of course they weren't out yet when i purchased my suspension)

Illumina and H&Rs here. I love the ride and handling. Mild drop too so no scraping issues.

my ride with the AGX/s-Techs is very firm, but not uncomfortable.. with the AGX's set on 1 up front the car actually rides fairly smooth.... pics are on my cardomain www.cardomain.com/id/maxima99sebose

Sprint/AGX, love it. Late night, high speed, canyon carving runs dont phase the car one bit...my donut tires are holding it back tho Id spend the extra money for one of the coilover setups tho...

I am riding on AGX's and H&R's, tried all the setting except 4 and 8. A little to stiff for my tastes, but the new rear shocks mounts that I will be getting from Mzmtg will help soften up the back. I've been riding on this suspension for a year and 9 months. If I could do it again I would go with the Illuminas.

Looks like KYB's are popular. Right now it's between tokico and kyb.....leaning toward agx now...

If their only 3 bucks more, go for illuminas
How much are they going for and where?
I think the reason KYB's are so popular is the price.

Right now I am running a set of Tokico Illuminas with coilover sleeves and 550lb coilover springs all the way around. The ride is extremely stiff not for the timid. The ride is smooth on the top end but at low speeds under 40 or so can be very bothersome. But I am going to be moving on to JIC FLT A2's so I let you know how those are when I get them

Tokico illumina More Power Racing
Tein Stech Final Stage Auto

The Struts come up to be like 466 and the springs are 187.
These are the cheapest I found both of these. If anyone knows anywhere esle cheaper let me know. Both of these places have free shipping.
And I was wrong it's like a $12 difference

Cattman/Progress coilovers with custom valving. Switching from 400/350lbs to 450/475. Eibachs & Konis before this. Kinda harsh especially when cold but decent performers.

ACEEMaxima - you gonna wait til after Ivan's passed right? You might need that extra ride height. Best wishes to everyone down there.

Thanks I appreciate the concern...but it's not suppose to hit us that hard. But I will need the height. I'll probably order then this week to have for next week...I'm suppose to put the kit, rims, drop, and paint on next week. So...

Tokico Illuminas with H&R Springs. love the ride, but its deffinitly not as smooth as stock, but i guess the handling makes it worth it.
