Talk to redmax, he has some 7" microvision screens for $180 shipped. Its the microvision 7000-bct from the group deal section.

this is an excellent question and i wanted to look into this myself for some time. I noticed that i cannot find the microvision screens any other place beside from redmax. i would like to see how this would compare to the microvision screen as far as fitment goes.

Thanks for input and pics, however I am still wondering about other models and fitment. But at least we know that your vouching for the Farenhiet, and that it fits. Also its not a bad deal, is'nt the resolution better as well? In addition, this local shop told me that those were better.

I would like a response from RedMaxx, maybe he could clear up and misconceptions we might have. I want to get a screen soon.

I got that screen. Personally I love it. I think it's great. Come next Spring I'm going to get 2 more and put them in my Headrests, or maybe 5.6", but if 7" can fit I will do so. One thing that drew me to it was that there's no buttons on the screen. I hate the lok of buttons on the molding. Looks so tacky and unclean to me, but that's IMO. Also, close to perfect fit, I had to dremel a little bit to fit in, very minute amount, and also the bottom so that my CD Player could flip up and down with no problem. I have pics I just have no where to host them so if you want I can email them to you, note its my camera phone so don't mind the quality, but just to get an idea.

those microvisions suck so much it's not even funny.
i bought 2.....i believe i had them for less than 24 hours before i got rid of them asap. there's a reason they're so cheap...they're ****in nasty.

i'm not favoring my icon headrests just cause i bought them, but they ARE pretty damn pimp. quality between the icons and the micro's are nite and day. yeah, the icon's will be roughly 3 bills, but when you see the quality difference, you'll think twice about it and find the extra $$ to be worth it.

picture of my icon 7", i think the quality is superb.

picture of front eclipse for comparison

I dont like to be negative to things others have, but I have to agree the picture and resolution are weak on those microvisions, then again they are CHEAP- get what you pay for I guess

The Farenheit and TFT screens are of better quality if you want cheap

I spoke to this guy at a local car audio/video shop, and he told me that Farenheit makes MICROVISION! Same with speakers, alot of companies are spring offs of the major ones. So far all I've heard is that Farenheit monitors are superior.

So can anyone else vouch for that specific model farenheit(ebay)? Any how about the price... seems good to me. I got a local quote for $250.
