ATTN ALL MEMBERS: I will $$ for someone to do window switch LED's!!!!!! HELP!

I have done this twice and both times the LEDS won't light up. I know they are all in there right and not touching because if I put 2 of those car remote batteries on the poles they all light up but once it is plugged in to the car nothing happens....I have tried this 2 times on 2 diff switches and I guess that I just used too much heat.

ANYWAYS I need this done within the next week or two...I just need another LED board for the switch and then someone to do it for me and I will pay them....also I have the LEDS and resistors that I used for my other 3 window switches that turned out nicely.....plesase PM me or e-mail or IM me if you have a switch and are willing to do this or are simply willing to do this because you have before....thanks!

Check your solder connections, look carefully to see if the neg/pos are "attached" by solder. Just to make sure, use soldering braid and clean up the solder around the contacts for each connection. For further "just in case" use brand new resisted LEDs. Look carefully at the circuits either to make sure you didn't burn out anything, just trace them and hopefully you'll find your problem.

My paypal is wariow3@aol.com

thanks

Like I said I put one of those small 3 volt batteries to one of the LEDs and they all light up so I know the curcuit as a whole is good but for some reason it doesn't work with 12 volts going into it.....do you have an extra board wariow?

Before I knew about the org, i did this to my I30 window switches. I actually went to the stroe and bought the cheap LED window washer nozzles. i broke the LED;s out of them and installed them in my windown switches. I learned very quickly that there was a positive and negative on the LED, so I just switched them around and saudered them on. No resisters were needed, just the LED from out of the window washer nozzels.

If you have any further questions, PM me and I can help you through this. It is very easy, don't worry buddy.

dude.... the MCD rating is the brightness. the higher the number, the brighter it is. (to a point) it don't matter about the mcd... all normal leds take 3.2-3.4 volts, thats all that matters.

No problem man, thats why i made it! it is posted in the FAQ's as well just incase you need it later. also, there may be slight diffrences since i did that write up for a 99, and a 2002, and you have a 95. so i may not be right on key.

Well when I tried to do my gauge bulbs without the resistors it kept blowing the interior illume fuse so I figured you'd have to use resistors....Guess I'll try without...

In the board, you already have resistors because you're replacing LED's that were previously on the board right? So it's just simple remove and replace. In the gauges, those filament bulbs require 12volts of electricty to have them light up, THAT's when you need to use resistors.

where's my money??
