I'd appreciate a diagram showing locations on the undercarriage of a 1996 4th Gen where it is safe to position jack stands and where it is safe to apply a floor jack. Thanks.

 

I don't have a diagram but I'll try to describe them if that helps.

They are behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. at each one there are two dips in that ridge thing. Place the jack stand on the ridge in between those two dips.
