Not just your ordinary Power/Comfort Switch question.

Hello,
I was just wondering if any of you guys knew if the transmission power/comfort switch is on power, that it causes the power valve to open within the intake manifold (VG engines)? I thought it only effected the shift points, but does it also trigger the power valve control sensor in which triggers the actuator opening the valve?

Thanks guys

I believe that valve is vacuum operated and opens when the engine is above 3000 rpm or something like that. I don't think there is any connection between the TCU and the power valve actuator.
