1998 gxe tune-up

Besides spark plug replacement, what else should be done? Timing, valve adjustment, cam adjustment, timing etc?

New timing belt and spark plug wires.

Have the knudsen valve adjusted and the johnson rods checked for straightness.

yeah 98Maximass is right. you defenetly need a new fuel filter, and all of the others dependin on how they wasted. i jus did my tune up after 90K miles and the spark plugs could have lasted at least 5k more. but the fuel filter was toast.lol no problems tho thank god.

well i dont think you could really tell unless u take them out especially for the spark plugs. if u ride ur car to the point where u can tell than u dont wanna be in that position because it is in real risk of gettin big problems. as for the fuel filter, im not too sure, but u might be able to notice it cuz if its real bad than ur car doesnt respond as fast but i dunno. i suggest just replacing them with new ones, after all they're not that expenisve.
