I started my 94 SE two days ago to move it and now it won't start. It has been running fine without problems at all. It is turning over but just acts different than normal and won't fire up. I ran a self-diagnostic on it and it gave me an error code 34, Knock Sensor. Can this be why my car doesn't start now, or is this just an added bonus that my car won't start and I have to replace the knock sensor? thanks

 

Check your fuel pump.

I'll start with the fuel pump...for info, I tapped the gas pedal a couple times when I was trying to start it and I smelled gas...I am guessing that means my fuel pump was actually supplying gas?

 

just cus you tap the pedel and smell gas doesnt mean crap we need more info try checkin for presure and then try to see if it has a chack engine light when you turn the ignition on before it starts

 

The KS will not keep the car from starting. The KS doesn't even do anything until the car is warmed up and the sensors are reading. You need to check for spark or fuel to see which one it's not getting.
