These threads come up all the time. That is why people sometimes hesitate to provide input any more. Alot of these type of questions can be answered by reading the FAQ's. I have the Warpspeed SS y-pipe, but if I were to do it again I would by the Budget. I like my y-pipe, but the gains are pretty much the same. So buy the less expensive one and use the extra money for something else.

Refer to the thread title for the answer

Seriously though, Cattman, Warpspeed or Budget are all great choices. It just depends on what you want to pay. From all that I've read, I don't think I've come across any "recent" threads where y-pipes were giving off the bee's noise or any other unusual noises unless it had to do with a mounting problem or a broken flex section.

problaby budget....and you obvoiusly have loot to throw at the org if you're will to buy a cattman pipe, if you get WS then make sure you get stainless steel otherwise in the northeast itll show signs of rust in a month like mine did

a y-pipe is a y-pipe, so go for the cheapest. This isn't a complex mod.

Maybe this a dumb question, But what about the High Performance Y-Pipe that custommaxima provides, does anyone have this y pipe, or is this the "budget" y-pipe everyone is talking about.

I have the budget because all three are mandrel bent, same 2 1/2" diameter, same stainless steel, same flex section so what's the difference?.... Price! Bee's in the can is a fitment or mounting issue it seems, not a brand issue, hope this helps good luck.

Living in Canada also influenced my decision

all y-pipes are "high" performance because they all lack the pre-cats that your stock y-pipe has.

You are very welcome. I refer to this site whenever I want some hard fast facts about parts. Good luck with your decision. Personally, from the site info, I plan to go with a Budget Y whenever I can afford it.
