Once I put in the cut fluorescent plastic the clear lens showed how jagged the edges were and so I put it all back to the original shape. While trying to press the lens back on I cracked the corner.
Now it looks fugly when viewed close up.

It isn't difficult to do if you take your time. I messed up the first set I've ever done, but I have 4 perfect sets in a row since then. Just practice on something like a stock bumper light.

I cracked one of mine when I was putting them back together. I put too much pressure on the lenses when I put them back together. I also cracked one by using tools to try and pull them apart. Heat and gloves are the way to go with pulling them apart.

There's a tiny lip on the lens. When I tried to push it in so that the two halves meet up I cracked it along the corner by the red reflector. The glue was hardening up and very hard to manipulate.

so i heat them a 200degrees for 10 min, take ehm apart, tape, then spray, then wait, then spray, then wait, then i have to heat ehm back up again to warm the glue up, then put them back together carefully? or am i missing something?
