I purchased a use on off of eBay. It came out of a totaled Nissan Altima. One problem, it doesn't have the wiring harness. Does anyone know where I can find it? I called Crutchfield and they only sell the harness with the USA-Spec changers. I called Southpoint Nissan and they don't appear to sell it separately.

Any suggestions?

Well, if Southpoint Nissan doesn't have it, maybe you could try Courtesy Nissan in TX... I ordered my changer and install kit from them online (www.courtesyparts.com). The installation kit is $39.95 and I think that is for the mounting bracket and the wiring harness. I ordered them both at the same time (changer and installation kit), so I don't know which part of that deal the wiring comes with. It might be worth checking out though if nothing else works.

 

Ordered my changer and mount from Courtesy too! The harness does come with the changer, not the trunk mount kit. Since the harness costs $75 as a separate item, the cost of the changer/harness at less than $300 is a rare OEM bargain.

 

I just got an e-mail from Dave at Southpoint Nissan. He says that the installation kit comes with the wiring harness. So, I'm going order it from them.
