Yay.

If I could find the hardware for my old Addco I could sell it to you for really cheap since you're in the Berk family now.

The rear sway bar is probably the best handling mod for the money. You'll totally feel the rear end tighten up.

30585,
Don't get that one from ebay. Cattman has (had?) a group deal on Progress RSB for $109 + shipping. They are in AZ and I'm in NJ and it only took $18 to ship. I ask Brian how long the deal is going on and he said until the end of the month. Check out the Group Deal section of the forum.

I second that ^^
Got mine from Brian for a great price. Installed it and the car handles *much* better. I still have it at the softest setting but I may change that as I get used to the handling differences. It also seemed to raise my rear spring stiffness - probably by better connecting the trainling arms.

I LOVE MY REAR STILLEN SWAY BAR,, KEEPS FULL CONTROL OF THE REAR ON THE FLOOR, PLUS WORKS BETTER ON HIGH SPEEDS ABOVE 80, YOU CAN ACTUALLY CHANGE LANES OR RACE ON THE FREEWAY WITHOUGHT WORRYING ABOUT LOSING CONTROL OR UNSAFE LANE CHANGES BECAUSE OF BODY ROLL. gIVES YOU MORE AGGRESSIVENESS.....

It bothered me that it did not say who made it on the ebay one.
Catts is a known good quality part and guess what??? it is adjustable by putting the brackets in different positions.

This ebay one is the well-known Stillen RSB knock-off....several org'ers have it and say it is identical to the Stillen in build and performance....(btw, I like my Stillen RSB)

but 30585, you shouldn't listen to me, I'm not "in the Berk family"
Is that like the mafia? "Once you join the Berk family, you can never get out alive"

is there an advantage to having an adjustable sway bar as opposed one that's not adjustable?

Exactly, they are adjustable by moving the brackets/U-bolts: Move them towards the rear of the car on the part of the bar that is connected to the trailing arm and to the outermost part of the rear of the bar (lateral piece).

I'm going to do that tomorrow, because I want it as stiff as possible w/o new springs/struts.

The stillen bar is a beautiful piece, just way to spendy. If it is a good knock off, then OK why not.

I have one of these, if I'm not mistaken, they are made by Topspeed. I love mine, bought it 6 months ago.

I got the stillen knock-off from ebay about 6 months ago. So far it works and looks great. If you get it you won't be disapointed.

nah....nothing against you....if I didn't already have an intake, I'd most likely buy a Berk...I just thought the "berk family" thing was funny

Of course i have to argue with you when you bash frankencar (since I have one and everyone on here ALWAYS argues that whatever they have is the BEST (springs, struts, intakes, body kit, etc etc etc)....doesn't mean I have something against you...

the org needs a special font that indicates sarcasm.....that way people won't take things so seriously.
