No more indecision...

Hey, all! I have said before that I had planned to sell the Max and never seemed to get around to it. This time it is going. After all the work I have put into it, it is very difficult to do, but it seems to be time. The clutch slave and the water pump at the same time were enough for me. The wife has always hated that car more than she has hated the Triumph and the MG combined,so... The funny thing is, that was my "I don't want to fix my Oldsmobile, so I'll just get something else to drive in the meantime" car. Now the Olds has been gone for about a year and I'm still driving the Max and don't really want to part with it.
Thank you all for the assistance, advice and most importantly, the sense of community.

I'd take any old maxima over any olds. my friend with his 89 olds cutlass with a 3.1 kept talking about racing me in my max, but conveniently waited until I got rid of that and got a 4-cylinder. cos he secretly knew I could mutilate that oldsmobile of his.

that was one of those 3.1 engines where you had to disconnect the motor mounts and move the entire engine forward just to replace the spark plugs.

I'm happy with my nissans. my store manager has an '82 datsun nissan sentra he's cartin around in. it's his "everything else" car and it still keeps goin.
