1995-1998 Custom Enterprise SS Y-Pipe/Hi-Flow Cat

Continuing on from Naija's thread, I give you a review on this brand new pipe made by those at CustomEnterprises. Its advertised to get rid of that nasty rasp that most of the .org experiences. Im not going to get into much detail as far as this thread is concerned, but check out the link for more information and sound clips.

wow...A+ review luke! i did not hear any bees with CM's y-pipe, it just sounds a bit raspy at higher rpm. (i think it'll sound more raspy with my sp2) but anywayZ, i think i'm gonna buy it next month... btw is it 2.25" inlet or 2.5" inlet?

Beg to differ. Until i hear it in person. They both sound raspy to me but maybe thats because of my cpu's audio. I would rather here them in person/ do testing on my own or watch someone test it.

Here are some dyno plots that were done by CustomEnterprises on their 97 Maxima

What other mods do they have on there to dyno 170 fwhp with a stock y pipe?

So they went from 170fwhp to 200 fwhp with just a y pipe and test pipe?...wow their y pipe adds/frees more power than any other y pipe by over 10 whp...

Well if the person had a clogged cat it would have made that much of a difference.

we need couple more dynos with similar setup to back up CM's dyno. IMO 1 dyno sheet off their web site is a bit biased.

i'll g-tech mine when i get my CM y-pipe. even though it's not the best way to measure it but it'll just be another refernece. hopefully i'll try to setup another dyno meet around my area and put my max on the dyno.

200fwhp is not attainable by just exhaust on a 4th gen Maxima.
