You need to just look around this site for more than 15 seconds and you would see a ton with 17's. Read the FAQ's, go to cardomain.com, and actually look through this site before posting

Not flaming or anything, just letting you know what I would do if you don't have much luck here.

Go to cardomain, type in the year of car you want to see and start looking to see what they look like lowered and now lowered, some have 15's some have 20's, it's all a matter of searching. There may be a gallery section on the maxima.org homepage with different set-ups, but it might not be there anymore. Enjoy

BTW, Wiskey97se is one of my personal favorties ..

If you get Wheels man. Get the drop and get the 50 series tire for reduced road noise and driver comfort.

The drop makes all maxes look sexy.

QUESTION, I DONT SEE THAT MANY MAX'S WIT SHINY CHROME RIMS LIKE MINE....is this rice or something, i think it looks hot....everyone shows their rims wit cool spokes and designs, but they are something other than chrome, they dont shine at all.....just as a random example:

rims look hot, but they dont shine, what are they made out of....and what are mine made of?

hot rims, but what are they made of that doesnt get that shiny quality to em?

i got my rims as a gift, so i didnt ask questions....

Well.....IMO, yes chrome rims don't suit the Maxima. Even big 20 inch chrome rims, there is just something about the body lines that keep it from ever looking nice, IMO the only generation that I have seen ever really kind of get away with chromes (and only big Dub chromes) are the new 6th Gens.

well yeah, but mine are 17s, and they look decent for the max, id never get 20 in chromes, cuz my thing is expensive shoes for expensive cars, but even still, some of these rims would look better IMO if they just shined when the sun hit em thats all....so ijust wondered why not chrome them out....not up the size, just chrome em out...

Well I'd like to get some other people's opinions, but I think there is a big differance between chrome rims and rims that shine. Like my rims reflect the sun and look shiny, but they are not chrome.

For example these are my rims;

I think they shine and reflect the sun, now these are chrome rims on the max;

And those are big 20s which are supposed to look good.....but its just ugly ugly.

im thinkin of getting some 17" rota attack in bronze or gold for my white maxima...but im gonna go with 235/35/17 or something...i hate huge sidewalls...and a smaller tire will make my car faster lol.

i dont like much wheelgap either so im gonna go with a 2" drop...these pics helpd out a lot in making my decision to go with 17's

If you want to go 35 series you're going to have to go with 18" The proper spec for overall stock diameter for 17" is 235/45/17. Here's my 17's with Eibach Pro spings, Illumina's enroute from the GD.

My friend had a set of these on his GSR looked pretty damn nice, but his was a Black Teg with Bronze Attacks so I'm not sure how it will look on a white max.

I'm not a fan of chrome and my pics don't do my rims justice. They're bright silver but not so shiny as to be a mirror.

Can't say I'm feeling those rims. More power to you though for doing what you like, I mean it is your car.
