Transmission leak--gear selector?

After two months of sitting in the garage I noticed a small puddle of transmission fluid. The leak is coming from the gear selector hole in the transmission--the thing that moves when I change gears. There is a rubber boot that connects the transmission to the gear selector shaft and the fluid is dripping from there.

Can someone give me some advice? I just had this transmission put in about three months ago (used).

Thanks.

Are you talking about the boot on the bottom of the trans, that's where the striker rod oil seal is. Just remove the rod from the yoke, then the retaining pin, remove the seal and put it back together.
