This is awsome. How much should shipping be, $10? Will they ship these out faster since it is a group deal so you don't have to wait forever if you buy it normally? I gotta check the money issue and figure out what to tell my dad why I want it, any suggestions?

YESSSS!!!!!!!!

I should have enough within a week!

I want a 95-96 Auto ECU

Do you think they have a few ECUs ready to go? I would definatly pay the core charge if I could get the ECU faster. I would then simply send them a 95 or 96 ECU in exchange for my $700 back right?

I have heard that it fits fine in a 97 but some may get a CEL. And I heard that in 98-99 you have to move a few wires around. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I have a 96 ecu in my 98. You get a rear o2 fault code. Even with the pin moved to the correct location on the 96 ECU it still throws the code. I have tried everything to remove this code and I still get it.
Thats the only problem I run into.

Im interested in the deal. Just have to give a few more details on whats is going to happen.

Where did you get your spare ECU? I found a few places online that wanted $200 for one.

If this goes through what will everyone set their fuel cut at? I am planning on 7500 or 8000 like krismax.

I actually got it for free..... kind of. I wrecked my first 96 maxima and took its ECU. I am still in the process of parting it out. You should be able to get it for about $100 or so I would think. Look on www.car-part.com or in the classifieds here. You may want to check local junkyards too.

I am just going to get the 7000 redline and N/A program right now but hopefully later: turbo program. I would rather not have valve float and not get quite as much range of power than have to change the engine just for something that stupid. Not to insult Krismax or anything but I trust JWT with their tuning history (albeit conservative) over someone on the internet saying "look I did it so it must be ok."

98's can use an ECU with no wires swapped. Mardigras has a 98 and his works fine. 99s have to swap some wires. I think JWT can do it for you and make 99's work.

Look at some wiring diagrams for the a 98 and a 96, you will see the differences. I tried swaping the pins but it didn't help. Not sure why it didnt help but I only get one code anyway. So for a 96 in a 98 ull get a rear 02 fault and thats it. Thats the only problem I have run into.

I have a '95 auto ECU for any one who owns a '97 auto and wants to get this done. You'll need a 95/6 auto ECU. I'll let mine go for $100 shipped.

Yes I need this ECU asap so if this is not going to get moving soon then I may have to back out. I want my mid range back and my extended redline immediately.

OK heres the deal I just got off the phone with ben from JWT whoever wants the ECU done needs to send theres to my shop with return address contact info and year of car you have and trans type also need to know what year ECU your having done (ie 97maxima fed spec but sending a 95 fed ecu) From what it seems it will vary from 2-3 weeks to get done + shipping time. I can except CC, paypal or MO when I receive ECU. I also need to know what redline you want and if its for a boosted app other info is needed like inj size.

wait, am I missing something here? All this talk about the ecu and shipping and core swap, but no mention of the cost of the actual programming. How much excatly are we looking at here if we send in our own ecu to ya tilley?

I have heard that there are different JWT ecus out there. I'm assuming 7200 redline, and fuel remap for USIM intake. Please confirm.

well they require I sign off (they say for engine safety issues they will not be held liable over 7k) but 7k or less they will do and it remaps fuel and timing.
