I see it as professional. I like it. Nice show car. Nothing ricey about it. Everything sets of a certain item on there nicely. Nothing gaudy or ricey to me. But thats MO. Only thing I dont like is the gucci stuff. That is over the top for me.

...it's a typical show car, minus a Nitrous system, PS2, Bride seats and more TV's. The Gucci emblem is though, he could at least spring for some authentic Gucci material for the interior. At least that would be different.

I agree 90% on this site expect the #1 ride to be a maxima with a super rare stillen kit, lowered, and some Evo 5's.

yup... this guy took it to the next level. an area where i was going to take my max but decided to get a crib. believe or not most of the shows i went to i was classed as mild. that car is ridiculous and he was able to do it w/o headlight/tail conversions and crazy body mods that most people around here talk crap on....

well... thanx for all the compliments and criticism. it seems like if u try to do something different, people on the org hate, especially all the people with nothing done to their cars. that always cracked me up about this site. how can someone with reverse indiglo gauges call my car ricey?? o well.... anywhere u go there will always be haters. i guess if i got the standard stillen kit with mille miglia wheels my car would be the **** but i personally think its WAYYYY played out. Its a wonder why u rarely see show cars on here, there's wayy too many haters.

 

You have duals (which look cool) and some cool rims, instead of wannabe, gangsta-dubs, or a Gucci emblem. Personally, I like your car better. You could easily show it. Seriously, maybe a little bit of red vinyl to spice up the white paint if necessary, a decent, custom-stereo install, maybe a few other pieces (PS2, TV's, Nitrous bottle, seats, etc.) and it'd be over.

so basically he'd need to do alot to be show ready...ps2, tv's, seats, nitrous bottle? (how bout a full install) etc etc. that doesn't happen overnight and w/o cash...

there's alot more to showing a car than just the mods that you see. there's so much nit picking in the judging it's not even funny. the car has to be CLEAN and the mods can't be half assed.

lol so I guess just throwing all that in the car would be so simple. Basically what you are saying is with about $3000 in parts he could go win shows? not hardly what about the installs, fiberglass work and countless hours of custom installs. I bet this car has thousands upon thousands of custom fabed fiberglass work to house all the stereo, tv's, playstations etc. If the white car you mentioned when to the show it would be used to prop elbows on to stare at the black gucci maxima.

WOW... apparently u have no idea how much time, money and effort go into modifying a show car. PearlWhtMax2000, please dont do anything this guy tells u. The car looks good, everything he's telling u will rice it out completely. Vinyl... cmon now. I guess he thinks anyone can buy random parts, slap it on the car and do well at shows... its not that simple. FYI, everyone at any reputable car show is gonna have a descent stereo set up, PS2, tv's, custom interior etc.... In order to win u have to take it further. before u give tips on how to do well at car shows, show pics of ur car to back up ur knowledge. Lastly, how do my wheels look like wannabe gangsta dubs???

Lots of people on here seem to have the mentality "if you didn't spend your money the way I would have, your car is ugly." . . . although this car is not particularly my style, I do give it props for being nicely done and well put together, it won 1st place in NOPI, so it does a great job doing what it was made for - car shows.

 

Sup man, I still have the PS2 controller for now. A new company recently came out with a 7" touchscreen monitor that controls the air ride with presets, and all kinds of other good stuff. Contemplating getting that unit soon but not sure yet.
