We were getting our car for winter season and noticed that the CV joint boot is wearing. Does anyone knows how much to replace one and where can I get one please? Also, what is wrong when your temp window is not quite lighted?

Over 100k on that axle? Just replace the whole thing. Napa is a decent store to try or the numerous places in the stickies. Instructions are in there also.

Thanks for your reply. Our car mileage is only about 89k though. I'll check out Napa for prices. Do you know what is wrong when the temp window is not lighted, very faintly..

 

I'd still just replace the axle. Possibily both if you can. What temp window? Temp guage?? Check the black temp sensor and wire.

It's the digital display got climate control, not temp gauge, Sorry for the confusion!
